Guatemala is now the site for Boston Clinical Consulting. BCC, an organization founded in Boston, Massachusetts opened its doors in Guatemala since 2006. Boston Clinical Consulting provides psychological and substance abuse services in Latin America. The Boston based psychology professionals and partners supervise, provide advice, consult, train, oversee and provide technical assistance to local psychologists through modern communication systems and rotating physical presence of partners in Guatemala. Guatemalan psychologists maintain an ongoing professional exchange with Boston based professionals, a collaboration that enhances the provision of psychological services in Guatemala, and mental health services in Boston.

 

In addition to psychological services, BCC offers training, consultation, and educational programming for Guatemalan psychologists. Our affiliated Guatemalan psychologists have ongoing access to seminars, lectures and psychology supervision groups through technologically advanced webinar systems, and in vivo professional exchanges with Boston based academics and professionals. BCC also organizes professional and cross cultural exchanges between Guatemalan psychologists and U.S. mental health professionals.
